Managing Clients & Contacts
Your Client Directory
The Clients section is the foundation of your CRM. Every quote, order, and invoice is linked to a client record.
Adding a Client
- Go to Clients and click Add Client
- Fill in their details:
- Name – First and last name or company name
- Email and Phone
- Company Name and VAT Number
- Address – Full postal address
- Source – How they found you (referral, website, etc.)
- Tags – Categorise clients with custom tags
- Notes – Any additional information
- Click Save
Client Hierarchy
Twentu CRM supports parent/sub-client relationships for organisational structures:
- A parent client (e.g., a company) can have multiple sub-clients (e.g., departments or contacts)
- Sub-clients can have their own billing or inherit from the parent
- Set Billing Mode to “Individual” or “Consolidated” to control how sub-clients are invoiced
Searching & Filtering
Use the search bar to find clients by name, email, company, or phone. Filter the list by:
- Status (Active or Archived)
- Type (Direct clients only, or include sub-clients)
- Top-level only (Hide sub-clients)
Client Portal Access
Each client can have a Portal Email which gives them access to view their quotes and invoices online. This is separate from their contact email if needed.
