Creating Professional Proposals
Quotes let you send professional proposals to clients with itemised pricing, optional items, and digital signature capability.
Creating a Quote
- Go to Quotes and click Create Quote (or create from an existing order)
- Select the Client
- Set the Valid Until date (defaults to 30 days)
- Add Line Items:
- Select products or enter custom descriptions
- Mark items as Required or Optional
- Optional items let clients choose what they want to include
- Add Terms & Conditions
- Optionally attach an Agreement Template for digital signing
- Click Save
Sending a Quote
- Open the quote and click Send
- The system uses your email templates to compose the message
- The client receives a link to view the quote in the portal
Client Interaction
When a client receives your quote, they can:
- View the full quote with all details
- Ask questions – Send messages that you can reply to
- Select optional items – Choose which extras to include
- Sign the agreement – If required, digitally sign the contract
- Accept or reject the quote
Quote Q&A
Clients can ask questions directly on the quote page. These appear on your dashboard as pending questions. Reply from the quote detail page to keep all communication in one place.
Converting to Invoice
When a quote is accepted, you can convert it to an invoice with one click. All line items and selected options are carried across automatically.
