Email templates in the CRM let you create professional, reusable messages for sending quotes, invoices, and other communications to clients.
Template Types
- Quote – Sent when you email a quote to a client
- Invoice – Sent when you email an invoice
- Agreement – Sent when requesting a signature
- Reminder – For follow-up communications
- General – For any other purpose
Merge Variables
Templates support merge variables that are automatically replaced with real data when sending:
Client Variables
{{client_name}}– Full name{{client_email}}– Email address{{client_company}}– Company name
Business Variables
{{business_name}}– Your business name{{business_email}}– Your email{{business_phone}}– Your phone number
Document Variables
{{quote_number}},{{invoice_number}}{{total_amount}},{{due_date}}{{view_link}}– Link for the client to view the document
Email Tracking
All sent emails are logged, showing:
- Who sent it and when
- Whether it was delivered or failed
- Which client, quote, or invoice it relates to
