Customising Member Communications
Email Templates let you create professional, automated messages sent to members at key moments.
Template Types
- Welcome – Sent when a new member joins
- Expiry Warning – Sent when a membership is about to expire
- Booking Confirmation – Sent when a member books an event, class, or treatment
- Booking Cancellation – Sent when a booking is cancelled
- Custom – Any other purpose
Merge Tags
Use merge tags to personalise your emails. They're automatically replaced with real data when sent:
{{member_name}},{{member_first_name}}– Member's name{{membership_number}}– Their membership ID{{membership_expiry}}– Expiry date{{profile_name}}– Their membership tier{{business_name}}– Your organisation name{{portal_link}}– Link to the member portal
Default Templates
Click Create Default Templates to generate a starter set of templates that you can then customise to match your brand and tone.
Location-Specific Templates
Templates can be business-wide or location-specific. When a location-specific template exists, it takes priority over the business-wide version for members at that location.
