Deals & The Sales Pipeline

Deals represent sales opportunities that you track from initial enquiry through to a successful close. The pipeline board gives you a visual overview of where every deal stands.

Creating a Deal

Create a deal from the Deals list or directly on the pipeline board using the quick-add button on any column. Fill in:

  • Title – a descriptive name for the opportunity
  • Client – select an existing client or create a new one inline
  • Value – the estimated deal value
  • Expected Close Date – when you expect to close the deal
  • Stage – the current pipeline stage
  • Notes – any additional details

The Pipeline Board

The pipeline is a Kanban-style board where each column represents a stage. Deal cards show the client name, value, and any linked documents. Drag and drop cards between columns to move deals through your sales process. Each column header shows the deal count and total value.

You can filter the pipeline to show only your own deals or all deals across the team.

Managing Pipeline Stages

Customise your pipeline stages via Pipeline > Manage Stages. For each stage you can set:

  • Name & Colour – give each stage a recognisable label and colour
  • Win Stage – mark a stage as a “win” (shown in green)
  • Loss Stage – mark a stage as a “loss” (shown in red)
  • Trigger Actions – configure what happens when a deal enters this stage

Deal Assignees

Assign multiple team members to a deal. Assignees receive notifications when the deal changes stage or when a client asks a question on a linked quote.

Activities & Notes

Log activities against deals – meetings, calls, emails, tasks, and notes – to build a complete history of every interaction.

Linked Entities

Deals can be connected to quotes, orders, invoices, projects, and form submissions. This gives you a full picture of every document and action related to an opportunity.

Deal List View

As well as the pipeline board, there is a list view where you can filter deals by status (open, won, lost), stage, client, and assignee. Use the search bar to find deals by title.

Notifications

Team members are notified when they are assigned to a deal, when a deal changes stage, and when a client asks a question on a linked quote.
